Our country faces record unemployment, record taxes, record deficits and a Congress that is simply out of control
and out of touch with working families. We have a President and his liberal Democrat allies in Congress pushing socialized medicine (under the rubric of “health care reform”), granting civilian trials – as well as Miranda rights - to terrorists, spending hundreds of billions of dollars of our money on so-called “stimulus projects” and last but not least, pushing for amnesty for those who cross our border illegally.
This is insanity – and it must stop.
My name is Jim Waring and I’m your Republican candidate for Congress.
As you probably know, Congressman John Shadegg announced recently he would not be seeking re-election to another term. No one can ever replace his leadership and service, but I do wish to succeed him as the next congressman from District 3.
That’s why I’m writing to you today.
As a state Senator, I have been a strong voice for conservative principles at the state legislature. I want to take those principles with me to Washington, DC to stop the radical, left-wing agenda of Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.
There is too much at stake to allow this seat to fall into Democrat hands. I believe my voting record stands head and shoulders above others in this race who claim to be conservative. And I promise you I will work harder than anyone else to earn your vote.
