The massively intrusive health care overhaul must be retracted and replaced with sound, fiscally responsible solutions that address explosive costs, quality of care and, most importantly, respect the doctor/patient relationship so vital to a successful health care system.
I have voted repeatedly in the state Senate for tort reform that would cut the cost of providing care and I’ve sponsored bills to reduce the tax burden on our hospitals.
